The overall goal of this blog is to discuss decisions involved in the making of photographic works of art. I will post a new image every month and discuss noteworthy aspects of the scene, important elements of the composition, practical aspects of image capture, key PhotoShop edits to increase artistic strength, and more.

Although I primarily shoot film, the emphasis of our discussions will be the use of photography to produce artwork so discussions will appeal to digital shooters and film shooters alike. Others who might be interested in this blog include art lovers, people looking for interesting travel destinations and print collectors.
